For some situations
it is nearly impossible to take down a chandelier so Imperial offers a
detailed split service
We pay special attention to
the pattern to find the best place to cut the medallion. We do not use a
table saw that randomly cuts the medallion in half. By using a thin
manual saw we take the time necessary to cut the medallion so it
seamlessly goes back together in spite of loosing the thickness of the
blade.
Here
are a few pics of the Process
Cutting
Holes - Standard & Custom Sizes
Most receptacle
boxes are 3-3/4 inches
If a medallion does
not have a 3-3/4 inch hole we
can drill a new one
for you.
This is done with a
hole cutter and a drill
Just as a reminder
the canopy does not go through the hole
We do offer hole
cutting for non standard sizes
to accommodate
special needs.
This is done by hand
for exacting precision
Prices vary per size
Historic
Reproductions
For the discerning
Residential client and Commercial projects we offer historic
reproductions of existing broken medallions. This involves supplying CAD
drawings or sending the damaged pieces to us. Product and service fees
are determined as per the number of units required and the complexity of
the job. We recommend either
GRGNeoPlasterTM
or
ArchPolymerTM
for the reconstruction.
