What is a Canopy?

The chandelier canopy does not go through the hole of the medallion. It sits up to the face of the medallion. This collection is sorted by the center flat area of the medallion around the hole. Your chandelier's canopy can cover this center flat area or you can allow it to cover part of the decorative pattern, thus the canopy can be larger than what is listed

IPMED112H is a Victorian style medallion denoted by Baroque design patterns. Great for dining & living rooms. Fits a chandelier with a canopy up to 1-1/4" (3.18cm). Victorian style medallions are perfect for any decor from traditional to Beyond Modern decorating styles. This medallion is 21" x 12" (53.34 x 30.48cm). The center flat to the hole ring is 1-1/4" (3.18cm). It is available in ArchPolymerTM (a synthetic plaster) for interior and exterior use. For Vaulted ceilings specify Flexible ResinMold®. IPNP1028H is a Neo Classical Style Medallion depicting an Acanthus Appliqué. It has a diameter of 16-3/4" (42.5cm) It fits a chandelier on a chain which sits on the top of the medallion not through the hole. It fits a chandelier up to 1-1/2" (3.8cm). It is suited for classical chandeliers and modern fixtures. It is available in ArchPolymerTM and custom made in GRGNeoPlasterTM, GFRC-ZeamentTM.
